Job Summary: As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing the organization’s IT infrastructure. Your role involves ensuring the smooth operation of hardware, software, and network systems to meet the needs of internal users and external customers. You will troubleshoot issues, implement security measures, and optimize system performance to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Management:
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, storage devices, and networking equipment.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uninterrupted operation.
- Conduct regular hardware and software upgrades to enhance performance and security.
- Implement backup and recovery procedures to safeguard critical data.
- Network Administration:
- Manage local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and internet connections.
- Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
- Monitor network traffic and implement security measures to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Troubleshoot network issues and optimize network performance.
- Work on WI-FI related issues.
- Security Management:
- Install and update Security software, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Respond to security incidents and conduct first level of investigation.
- Upgrade Servers and workstation with latest security patches.
- User Support:
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users on hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Train employees on IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Create and maintain documentation for IT systems, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- System Automation and Scripting:
- Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline system administration tasks.
- Implement configuration management tools for provisioning and managing IT infrastructure.
- Monitor and optimize system resources using scripting languages such as PowerShell and CMD.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with IT teams and other departments to plan and implement IT projects.
- Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar.
- Proficiency in operating systems Windows Server and virtualization technologies.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, security principles, and IT best practices.
- Strong hands-on experience on O365 Administration & Backup Configurations & VM.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms like Azure.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are desirable.
