Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting:
o Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports of India Entities.
o Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
o Help develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
o Monitor actual performance against budgets and analyze variances.
3. Recording and Account Reconciliation:
o Oversee the reconciliation of general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
o Recording of transactions in the ledger and review of recorded transactions
o Support in Accounts payable check run process.
o Resolve discrepancies and provide explanations for variances.
4. Tax compliances
o Preparing data and review of data for GST Return, TDS Return and Income Tax Return
o Coordination with Consultant for filing of returns and compliances.
5. Compliance and Documentation:
o Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
o Working closely with consultant for compliances and providing timely response to Auditors
o Maintain proper documentation and support for financial transactions.
6. Ad Hoc Projects:
o Participate in special projects and provide financial insights as needed.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting with CA or MBA Finance with 4 to 7 years of experience
· Proven experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a BPO or service industry
· Good knowledge of Indirect and Direct Taxation Compliances (GST, TDS, Income Tax and Payroll Taxes)
· Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
· Proficiency with accounting software Tally is added advantage and financial systems.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
· Flexible with work timings and able to provide support as and when needed.
